Sizes, capacities and the height of a stack

Everything on this page comes from the product pages, with one exception that is marked as a calculation: the height of a stack. Nobody publishes that number, and it is the one that decides whether a set clears your shelf.

Diameters are as stated in inches, with the metric conversion in brackets. Bowl capacities are to the brim unless the page says otherwise, so plan on filling a bowl to about two thirds.

Three numbers to takeShelf height, cupboard depth, and the width of a dishwasher slot. Half an inch decides whether a stack goes in upright.

Plates nest closely; bowls do not, and that is the whole difference in shelf height.
